Default Larger AoE with Less Granularity

Since the Isle of the Nameless was put in, I have noticed that the definition of "in the area" is rather smaller than I thought. A ward looks big 'cuz it's all shiny, but other spells I use with the tag "in the area" tend to seem very tight in many cases when I actually use them in combat, even though they have the same radius. Using the dummy circles as a model, I suggest a new set of AoE radii.

Adjacent (still in the same place)
Close (old Nearby)
Nearby (old In the Area)
In the Area (one circle out)
Attack Range* (and another one)

Obviously, not all spells need buffs. With this system, those spells that are right where they belong now can stay where they belong with new names. This isn't a huge change; Attack Range just barely reaches to half of your aggro circle, and the difference is hardly noticeable on the minimap. It seems like just enough, though.

*If that gets confused with spell-casting range, i.e. the aggro circle, this could also be called Wide Range, Large Area, or, I don't know... Spitting Distance.

Attack range is just beyond your circle in general. Wands are anyway.

There should be some AoE skills that cover half the radar area, or the entire radar area.

Well, spirits cover about the radar range, I think. But yeah, I'm with you. "In The Area" was disappointingly small. Divine Healing would be such a good spell if it had a wider range.

I'm not sure what you mean, unless you thought that my "Attack Range" level should be the actual attack range, which is specifically not what I meant, as indicated by the *note. So, I guess that was too confusing. What I meant is that there should be another ring beyond the new In the Area the same distance out. By rings I mean the test rings at the Isle of the Nameless, if I wasn't clear.

PS: Also, I have been informed that my suggestion has less granularity, rather than more. Oops.

I wish AoE had the same range as IWAY. THEN let them run, let them run all they want / run all day / they will still burn / from a mile away.
